TRANSOL LLC is a woman-owned and minority small business based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Our 20+ years of experience within the translation and transcription industry and 12 years of experience with the US Department of Justice, as well as our affiliation with leading translation and transcription professional organizations, have empowered us to:

• Help eliminate English and Spanish language barriers.
• Help investigative and other federal agencies comply with transcription and translation regulations for the US court system.
• Help our clients comply with mandatory documentation within their organization.

TRANSOL LLC (Formerly TASC) was founded by Judy Quinones Hicks in 2001.  Judy is a former English and Spanish language specialist with a top-secret clearance.  She has post graduate translation studies from the University of Puerto Rico and has over 20 years of experience within the translation industry.  She is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), a Member of the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT), a member of the National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare (NCIHC), and a member of the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers (AAERT).  

Judy also has experience working within highly regulated manufacturing and corporate environments, which exposed her to methodologies such as Good Quality Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices.  

Throughout her professional career, Judy has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson and The Coca-Cola Company, as well as retail companies and law firms; and, she has over 12 years of experience working as a Language Specialist for the U.S. Department of Justice.  

The Transol Team is a virtual team comprised of highly trained, knowledgeable, and experienced linguists and quality reviewers from Puerto Rico and Latin America who are skilled and have vast experience working with many types of documents within numerous sectors and industries.
